Solution file is not valid error when importing to CRM
Problem: When trying to import the solution in the Dynamics CRM, error message appears that solution file is not valid.
Solution: The downloaded zip file is not CRM solution and cannot be imported. The actual solution files that need to be imported are inside the downloaded zip file which needs to be unzipped first. Typically there are two solution files which are required: Shared and Product. Detailed installation instructions are provided in the relevant product installation manual which can be download from the downloads page (documentation section).
