Let’s imagine a midsized TEST company that resells electronic equipment. They work closely with 4 big vendors offering in total few thousand of their products. Once a week suppliers send them a spreadsheet with up-to-date information about their products. These information need to be synchronized into Dynamics CRM that TEST company is using.

As a bike producer we have recently organised a Trade Show to promote our new product lines. Every afternoon we held a set of individual presentations for potential resellers. After each presentation we recorded information into an Excel spreadsheet (details about person we were taking to, company they represent and new product they were interested in). Upon my return I need to update Dynamics CRM. I want to verify if companies and individuals I have in my file already exist in our Dynamics CRM database, add them as new customers and individuals in case they do not, and record new sales opportunity for them.
